Who We Are

We are a family run business who started in the Dental industry. Over the past twelve years Lisa Mazzone & Dr. Frank Pettisani, Jr. have been working together expanding Dental Care to eight successful dental practices.  Our flagship office is located in our hometown of Vineland, NJ.  

After learning that dentists are among the highest prescribers of opioids, and often serve as a teenager’s first experience with opioids, we saw an opportunity to address this epidemic through cannabis.  The dentist's role in the opioid crisis is not commonly known and has not gotten enough attention – We believe we have a responsibility to provide alternative treatment.

On a personal level, we have first-hand experience with how cannabis has helped our own family members who struggled with chronic pain, and are grateful that medical cannabis offered them much-needed relief.  We are very fortunate that New Jersey offers this alternative to opioids. 

Throughout our careers, our family has always placed patients ahead of profits.  We firmly believe that if you offer the highest quality care, the patients will follow. Our patient-focused philosophy is what led us to expand into Medical Marijuana.  

We established ROOTS to bring the same patient-focused approach to the medicinal cannabis industry. Our dispensary will provide patients with easier access to their medication while also providing meaningful, local job opportunities for residents and ancillary vendors, as well as financial benefits to the community.
